The Club's Facilities
The Club offers a reasonably priced lunch every weekday. Members can enjoy a chat, read the national newspapers or have a game of snooker while they eat. For those who feel more energetic the Club also has a squash court.
A full commercial kitchen ensures that all of the members' catering requirements are met. One of the privileges of a membership is the ability to use the venue free of charge for private functions such as weddings, birthdays and other celebrations.
The main bar, otherwise known as the 'Marlin Bar' has a retractable screen and a theatre quality data projector which is backed up by an impressive sound system. Members are often to be found supporting their favourite Super 15 side on a friday night.
Adjoining the main bar area there is a very pleasant and sheltered courtyard which is ideal for socialising and alfresco dining. In addition there is a conservatory which takes in the vista of the port. The room make an ideal small conference venue and many local firms take advantage of this facility. At the front of the Club a separate conference room is designed to cater to larger groups. The Club has parking available for long term hire on the opposite side of The Terrace.
